Me in Casper, Wyoming, June 2005, just before my friend and I went dancing

This was the night we went dancing at the local hole-in-the-wall drinking establishment in Casper, Wyoming. Scarily enough, the phrase around here is "Sneakin' to the Beacon." And, well, it's called... The Beacon. She was over from Laramie, where the party scene is much better, being that it's a college town. So this was all I had to offer her.
We made the best of it and dressed up funky and fun and went to be ourselves and have fun, even if we didn't own cowgirl hats and western boots.
We had a good time of it and even met of all people in this country bar, some British soccer players; then we all went to their house for a lame party and then out to breakfast. But, hey, beats sitting at home in Wyoming!
