<div>I took my Sony Cybershot digital camera to a bm trip. it was in the outside pocket of my bag. somehow a large quantity of sand made it's way into the pocket... and into the camera. rendering it completely inoperable. <br/> <br/>I figured this was no big deal, it just needed to be cleaned. then I learned that "grit" voided my entire extended warranty. and that it will cost $200 in labor just to clean out the lens unit... which still may not work. or the option of $295 for a whole new lens assembly. <div>so far there has never been a photographer besides my father who can capture what i feel to be my true essence. i take a lot of pics of myself, and have gotten some really good results. when someone else takes the photo i always think i look horrible, and am shocked to see how fat i am because inside this big body i feel small a lot of the time. i manage to find ways of photographing myself that bring out this smallness, not in a meek way, but in a way that i hope can counteract the wrong impression people tend to get about me. I'm not a cranky, demanding bitch, i'm just a tomboy from New York.
